I love my bookshelves.
Fitted shelves, 3 coats of paint, and 3 hours of sorting later, and my bookshelves are up and sorted in our new home.
Not going to lie- I’ve waited for this since I was like 8 or something. Good thing my partner doesn’t really mind and I’ve just shoved all his dvds in a cupboard! I’m really happy with how homely and cosy it makes my living room feel, especially since before I started it resembled this:
Of course there’s no better feeling than walking into a room filled with books- right? Do any of you have any pics of your own bookshelves? And how many books to do you own?
Love that you bookshelves are front and center in your living room. Mine is in my office. I just wrote a blog post about recently moving and putting up my bookshelves too! I have pics of close ups for books, but not the shelves!
